For Pressure Leakage Test
a. Advantages:
Accurate and quick test on the radiator, heater core and radiator cap;
Convenient designs like integrated construction, quick coupling and thumb-operated pressure relief valve;
Hand pump gauge tester features easy to read pressure gauge with anti-scratch rubber housing.
b. Tools You Need:
Radiator pressure tester, thermometer, radiator adapters, aluminum cap adapters, plastic connectors and adapter assembly tool.
c. Testing Process:
(1) Make sure the radiator is cooled before unscrewing the radiator opening. Select a suitable adapter to replace the radiator opening, connect the pressure tester to the selected adapter.
(2) Press the manual pump to pressurize the inside of the radiator till the readout up to 10-15 psi. Don't over 35 psi.
(3) Wait for a while to see if the gauge pointer moves. Reading drops means there is a leak. Release the residue pressure and disconnect the adapter.
