- Pack of 1000 SPECIMEN BAGS WITH REMOVABLE BIOHAZARD SYMBOLS 6" x 10" provide an excellent means for securely transferring specimens in infirmaries and medicinal environments while helping to save on disposal costs. Printed polyethylene bags 1.80 mil thick are made with low density polyethylene resins. These transfer bags have special pull tab that seals bag securely with adhesive glue.
- HIGH QUALITY: Blue tinted specimen transport bags have a special removable biohazard symbol which can be torn off and allows the bags to be disposed of with regular waste if they are uncominated. The durable poly bags have a special mechanism where once its marked tab is pulled, the bag will seal securely and permanently with adhesive glue. Once the bag is sealed, the only way to access the contents would be to tear off the top indicated by a tear line, which would reveal any tampering.
- BENEFITS: Since the medicinal bags are manufactured in a Trade Agreement Act (TAA)-designated country, they conform with US governmental requirements and are eligible to be sold to governmental organizations. Specimen poly bags are printed in both English and Spanish. These reusable bags are designed to be easy to use for repeated entry because of its high quality zip type closure closes securely and is easy to open and close time after time.
- APPLICATION: Specimen transfer bags are used by laboratories to transport and store a variety of samples sent from clinics, operating rooms and doctors' offices for testing. These small biohazard bags are made of low density polyethylene (LDPE) with special construction designs to accommodate the specimen sample as well as the traveling paperwork that identifies the patient, the sample type and the prescribed test to be done.

The extended lip of one side of the bag has an adhesive tape that when folded over on the other side of the bag, effectively closes the bag. Transfer bags assure their contents secure during transport due to the strong adhesive tape tamper-evident closure. The contents in tamper-evident bags are easy to access when needed by the staff because they are designed with an integrated perforated tear line that can easily be torn from the bag at the time of use. Seal top reclosable bags provide outstanding protection, convenience and economy. Designed with strong seals against outside dust and moisture, these storage bags are much stronger than traditional low-density polyethylene bags.
