The larger barrel handles are made specially for hands with" many miles on them" or for anyone desiring a less tiring twisting action with more torsion power. (note the arthritic hands in the photos)
The "Easy Roller BH." is a sturdy, compact paper bead rolling machine designed and hand made by my craft partner and I to easily and quickly make paper bead jewelry. It can be enjoyed by the beginner and expert alike. (The barrel handles are specially suited to the less dexterous)
The "Easy Roller BH." is based on the original "Easy Roller" and shares most of the same parts.
The large diameter "Barrel Handle" rolling pins are very easy to turn and the vinyl coating makes it easy to roll just by passing your hand over the roller as shown in photos.
The machine measures 3-1/2" x 5-1/2" and is made from construction grade high density poly material, Polycarbonate pressure plate and stainless screws. Entire unit is waterproof, impervious to most glues and easily cleaned with damp cloth.
The opening & pressure plate allows up to a 1-1/2" wide bead rolled.
There are four sizes of roller pins included that are popular for the discerning crafter. They allow a wide variety of hole sizes for thin wire up to shoelace thickness' and have a soft"easy grip" vinyl coated handle.
The three larger diameter Barrel handles and one medium handle are easier on the grip and gives a torsion advantage over the standard handle, making turning easier . ( the blue medium 1/2" handle was found best on the thinnest pin)
The unit can be hand held operated or clamped to a table. The polycarbonate (Lexan) pressure plate holds bead in place and prevents unwinding and allows easy gluing. The pressure plate is adjustable and replaceable. Bead paper can easily be inserted into the split pin type roller pins. A pushpin (included) can be used to open slit in roller pin if necessary. Optional clamp is not included but can be purchased inexpensively at your local store. (beads in photos not included)
The included card stock templates can be printed out or cut to trace on desired paper stock. Old magazine covers etc. make good source of material
