Vegan plant wax from the Mexican candelilla bush
The pure vegetable wax is an almost equivalent and above all vegan alternative to beeswax. It can be used as a base for ointments, creams or lip care products, but can also be used in hair conditioners. It gives a pleasant skin feeling and gives the hair a beautiful shine and elasticity. The melting point is between 65 and 80 degrees.
Vegan Beeswax Alternative
The Candelilla bush is native to northern Mexico and the southern regions of the United States. The wax is extracted from the stems and leaves of the plant, which produces the wax to protect against drying out. The harvest is done by cutting off and heating the waxy plant parts. In the end, only the wax needs to be skimmed off.
