2. Pour the CO2 indicator slowly into this round instrument, which gradually reacts to the CO2 concentration in the water through a simple and reliable chemical reaction principle. It is based on special chemical materials for CO2 detection, which cause specific colour changes when CO2 comes into contact with the material.
3. The CO2 round instrument is suitable for aquariums of different types and sizes and offers customers comfortable and practical CO2 monitoring solutions. By observing the colour changes, customers can quickly see the changing trend of CO2 concentration in the water and take appropriate measures to adjust the water quality to maintain an adequate CO2 content.
Use carbon dioxide display reagent.
1. Simply add 15 drops of CO2 indicator into the glass tester and make sure it is stored with the opening facing down on the bulbous side of the valve.
2. Attach this to the side of your tank with the suction cup fully immersed in the tank water, and wait up to 2 hours.
3. If the blue CO2 indicator lights up green, this is the correct carbon footprint.
4. When it turns yellow, your tank has too much CO2.
5. Make the required settings, empty the glass valve and repeat the test until they turn green. A healthy tank has a carbon dioxide water content between 20 and 40 ppm (parts per million). 30 ppm is the optimal level that both plants and plants.
