Propolis, also known as bee glue, lute resin or putty, is a resin-like mass made by bees.
Propolis is a blend of many different materials, the composition of which can vary strongly.

Another bee product alongside honey and royal jelly is the wax secreted from the wax glands.
As the insects live together in very tight spaces at around 35 °C and high humidity in the bee hive, there are ideal conditions there for the spread of diseases.
Therefore, Propolis helps bees seal small openings, crevices and cracks, as well as at the same time
inhibit or even kill existing bacteria, fungi and other microorganisms in their development.
There are different surfaces, such as, for example, the inside of the honeycomb cells for the spawn with a very thin propolis film.
Foreign body or debris in the bee hive that cannot be removed by the bees are also encapsulated by this substance.

Propolis is made of approximately
50 – 55% resin and balsam.
30-40 - 40% wax.
5-10 - 10% essential oils/
5% pollen.
5% organic ingredients and minerals/

Tracking & Notifications
