The Girl's 2 piece Amira Hijab comes in 2 sizes to fit most girls small and medium. The fabric is 95% cotton/5% polyester (spandex) fabric which has some stretch. Girls love the buttery soft cool material so light she'll forget it's on. We have included an illustration of the hijab measurements to help determine the size. The Girl's Amira Hijab Cotton 2 piece headscarf is very easy to wear... no pins required. The plain 2 piece cotton hijab set includes (1.) a tube hijab cap worn under the head and neck (2.) hood covering. The tube hijab cap can be worn as part of the set or separately underneath your favorite scarf or shawl. The Illustration is of the Girl's Hijab Cotton 2 piece laid flat with measurements. Note measurements are approximations. In Islam girls cover their hair for modesty usually starting when they become a woman. Oftentimes, girls like to wear the hijab earlier like their mothers when going out or when they have company as part of their Muslim identity. Girls must wear a hijab when they are performing salat (prayer) and it is recommended when attending the mosque. The easier it is for young ladies to cover their hair, the more likely they will wear it. Amira hijabs do not require pins or wrapping to wear... simply pull the cap on over the head and then pull the hood on over the cap. The cap helps hold hair in place and absorbs sweat and oils from the skin. The caps are easy to replace without buying the entire 2 piece headscarf set. It is a good idea to keep several caps on hand so they can it fresh looking.
