Vanilla sticks, hand-picked, 1A bourbon vanilla - you will receive 1 hand-picked vanilla rod (vanilla pod), approx. 15-17 cm long, naturally untreated, in 1a bourbon quality. Bourbon vanilla sticks are one of the most popular vanilla varieties in European kitchens. Bourbon vanilla sticks are used in many recipes. The aromatic and sweet taste of bourbon vanilla sweetens many desserts (pudding, creams) as well as confectionery and baked goods. For this purpose, the vanilla rod or the pod is cut lengthwise to get to the valuable vanilla pulp inside the vanilla pod. Carefully remove the marrow with a knife (from the pod) and process it according to the recipe. The empty vanilla pods can be placed in a mason jar with sugar. This naturally creates vanilla sugar. When storing bourbon vanilla poles, care should be taken to keep the pods dry, dark and cool. This preserves the wonderful vanilla aroma.
