How do we make our scented candles for the home? Our candle jars combine ethical practices with the finest ingredients. First, we start with our vessel and wicks. There are several wick options out there to choose from, and not all of them are considered safe. Some companies use wicks that contain metal or lead to keep the wick stiff and out of the melted wax, but these wicks come with significant health concerns. At Calyan, we use woven-cotton wicks with no metal in them. We use 100% soy wax in our candles because it is more sustainable than other wax alternatives out there, it's a renewable resource that comes from the ground, and it's produced right here in America! Some companies will add paraffin (a waxy byproduct of the oil refining process) to their soy wax and will label their candles as "soy based" or "soy blend". When a candle has this on the label, it's very common that a good chunk of it is made with paraffin. We proudly don't use any paraffin or additives in our wax and we make 100% soy wax candles. Then, we work with perfumers and/or mix fragrances ourselves. Our vegan soy candles make a thoughtful gift for the family, friends, holidays or just because. Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. If you don’t receive a shipping confirmation immediately, your order is still being processed and will arrive within the estimated timeframe shown at checkout.

Order Changes & Cancellations

If you need to modify or cancel an order, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible. Orders can only be canceled before they ship. Once shipped, cancellations are not possible, but you may request a return after the item is delivered.

Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  • In-store returns are refunded to the original form of payment or issued as a gift card.

  • Mail-in returns using our prepaid label are refunded to the original payment method within 3–5 business days after we receive your return.

  • 5–7 business days for the return to reach our Returns Center.

  • An additional 3–10 business days for your bank to post the refund to your account.
