Many sellers claim that their CCA cable is "UL Listed", which means it can be safely installed in-wall. I'm not sure how this can be when CCA cable is in direct violation of UL Safety Standard UL444 and also the National Electric Code (NEC). This violation means CCA cable cannot legally be installed in walls or ceilings of homes or buildings, so buyer beware before buying a subpar cable that could be illegal and also be a potential fire hazard.
