- Why do dogs need a life jacket? Dogs can swim, but not all dogs can swim by nature. Dogs who start swimming are afraid of not being able to relax. Small dogs with short legs such as bulldogs can hardly float on their own. Dogs are playful, they do not realise they are tired of playing, it is easy to become physically exhausted and things to become dangerous. It is therefore important to prepare a life jacket for your dogs.
- Using the Citétoile safety vest: Our life jacket is a professional product for rafting, surfing and other water sports for dogs. The outside of our rescue fabric is made of Oxford 600D and is high density, tear and bite resistant. The inner material is EVA to increase the buoyancy. These closed-cell sponges do not absorb water during prolonged immersion in water and are not easily deformed. It helps dogs maintain balance in the water.
- Why choose our dog vest? It has a strong and soft texture on the back. You can hold it to teach your dog to swim, and pull the dog out of the water in an emergency. An adjustable Velcro fastener on the stomach and neck makes it easier to adjust the waist and increases the safety of your dog in the water thanks to the strong hidden buckle.
- How do I choose a size? We have improved the sizes: 4 sizes S-XL make it suitable for a large majority of dogs. (You can choose the size depending on the weight and chest size of your dog. As shown in the third picture, measure the widest part of the dog's chest on the left as a reference.) Choose a size larger should you be hesitating between two sizes.
- How to use the life jacket for dogs correctly? We suggest adjusting the life jacket on your dog before your pet enters the water where it might slip. Don't forget to put the additional tape in the protective cover to avoid any dirt from getting in the water. Let the dog practice for a moment with their companion after entering the water and then leave.
