The Cytac R-Defender Series is designed for enduring the hardest operating conditions and is ideal for military, law enforcement, security, & personal protection use. The quick release button/quick locking button allows for a quick/smooth draw and automatic locking of gun when reholstering to secure your weapon safely. It's made of a very lightweight high-tech polymer that weighs less than 4 ounces and a silicone padding on paddle, making this holster very comfortable for all day every day carry. You won't even feel the weight of the holster on your body. Great for training. Although lightweight, it is also very tough & durable (made of high grade military polymer) & will last you a lifetime.
Easy to use. Clips on and off your belt/pants easily with a strong yet flexible polymer paddle attachment so no need to loop it through your belt everytime you go to work or the range. Also has fully adjustable cant (rotates 360 degrees for every application such as strong side hip, cross draw, small of back carry, etc, using the provided allen key).
This holster also works with 7 other Cytac attachment options such as belt loop, belt clip, MOLLE, drop leg, single shoulder harness, double shoulder harness. Comes with paddle attachment, but you can easily remove the paddle and attach holster to other attachment options such as Cytac belt clip attachment. The quick release/quick lock button system means that when you place the gun in the holster you will hear the click letting you know it's locked in place. You can flip the holster upside down and gun will stay in place but quickly draw the gun by pressing the quick release button as you grip to draw and present the weapon (see video link above)
This holster has also recently been re-designed to be more ergonomic and to have a smoother and sleeker modern look. State of the art design, injection molding and space age high-density plastics are combined to create a holster which cannot be duplicated in leather or any other material at a really affordable price.
