Part of the Dogsbody range, this high quality grooming kit is perfect for combing and clipping your pet's hair in the comfort of your own home. This kit can be used on dogs, puppies, cats and kittens of all breeds. This kit contains four professional scissors, each designed with their own purpose: the comb scissors are used to thin out your pet's fur, the small straight scissors are used to trim small sections of fur such as around the face, ears, and paws, the large straight scissors are used to cut large quantities of fur, and the curved scissors are used to neatly trim around round areas of fur such as the top of the head and around the bum. The finger slots have non-slip silicone rings inside to provide a firmer grip on the scissors to make your dog's hairdressing session safe from accidental slips. A small silicone pad has been added to the outer finger slot to prevent the scissors from snapping together which produces a loud noise, which can cause stress in anxious dogs. An adjustable tension screw is included on each pair of scissors which you can tighten or loosen to suit your needs. The dual ended comb has two different sized gaps between the teeth on either end. The end with the smaller gaps is to brush out all of those nasty knots, and the end with the larger gaps is for fluffing up the fur after it’s been cut to give it a soft, feathered effect. The scissors and comb are made from solid steel which is strong and durable. A small piece of cloth is also included in this kit so you can wipe down your scissors after use to keep them nice and clean. All of these accessories come neatly packed in a handy little case which is easy to store and take with you on holiday, just in case you want to touch up your dog's new hairstyle before they strut their stuff. It’s recommended that you wash your pet's fur before cutting it so it’s in its cleanest and softest state to make it easier for styling.
