- Overview ：The ADNS-3080 is based on a new and faster architecture with improved navigation capabilities. The sensor can sense the high-speed movement of the mouse, up to 40 inches per second, and the acceleration can reach 15g, thus improving the user's accuracy and fluency.
- Features: The ADNS-3080 has high-speed motion detection up to 40 ips and 15 g, which greatly improves the new architecture of optical navigation technology, reaching a programmable frame rate of more than 6400 frames per second. SmartSpeed automatically adjusts the frame rate to obtain the best performance, with a serial port burst mode for fast data transmission. Available in 400 or 1600 cpi selectable resolution,3.3 volt power supply
- ADNS-3080 is based on optical navigation technology. It measures position changes optically to obtain continuous surface images and determines movement mathematically. It includes an image acquisition system signal processor. The external microcontroller reads information from the sensor serial port and converts the data into PS2 or USB signals before sending them to the host PC or game console.
- For best tracking performance, SROM is required to be loaded into ADNS-3080. This architecture enables the immediate adoption of new features and improved performance algorithms. The external program is supplied by Avago Technologies . On power-up and reset, the ADNS-3080 program is downloaded into volatile memory using the burst-mode procedure described in the Synchronous Serial Port section.
- Applications: The ADNS-3080 can be used in the following devices: game console and computer game mouse, desktop computer, workstation and portable computer mouse, trackball, integrated input device.
