Before you begin adjusting the lights, be sure to check the alignment of the lights. Park the vehicle 10 to 25 feet away from a wall with the headlights aligned with the wall. The centerline of the headlights should not be more than 3.5 feet above the ground.
1. Loosen the screws, clips, or retaining springs that hold the headlight in place.
2. Disconnect the wiring from the assembly.
3. Remove headlight from vehicle and replace with new one.
4. Install the new headlight assembly.
5. Secure the new headlight in place, making sure the screws, clips or retaining springs are sealed.
6. Reconnect wires removed from assembly.
7. Replace the grille and other removed parts. Seal them in place.
8. Test the new parts.
