Sweet Pepper Heirloom Mix - 25+ HEIRLOOM Seeds
An interesting and tasty mix of sweet pepper varieties with many colors including green, purple, golden, orange, yellow, red and chocolate. It produces fruit in about 120 days since sowing, a real novelty, super delicious and excellent in the kitchen, ez to grow.
Please note that all available varieties have been randomly mixed in ONE SINGLE PACKET – so there will a surprise factor until fruit start to set!
Sow & Care Instructions
Sow seeds indoors in seed flats - Start 8-10 weeks before last frost date in your area, .25-.5" deep with soil temperatures 72-79 degrees f, you may need to use bottom heat pad or lights. Choose a well-drained sunny position and transplant 36" apart when danger of frost has passed.
Harvest using a sharp instrument, pick first fruits when they reach usable size, this helps accelerate the growth of the other peppers on the plant. Leave some on to mature, to color and sweeten up.
Tips: Plant in fertile, well composted soil, mulch and provide adequate water. It helps to use row cover early in the season giving the plants extra warmth. Side dress when flowers begin to form. It is a great companion plant for basil. Warmth is essential for good fruit set. Pick fruit regularly to prolong cropping.
Basic growing instructions will be supplied with the seed packet for your convenience.

Heirloom tomatoes come in all colors, shapes, and sizes ? Reds, Pinks, Yellows, Orange, White, Green, Striped, and Black. Ranging in sizes of cherry and grape to large grapefruit size, meaty, or juicy.
WHY HEIRLOOM? These tomatoes and other vegetable varieties are more natural, they are non GMO (genetically modified). They do not have as long of a shelf life as store bought tomatoes/vegetables, but that is what makes them special. They have a real fantastic tomato flavor not found in grocery store offerings. These tomatoes/vegetables are indeterminate (they grow all season, they flower all season and they produce tomatoes all season. They don't stop until frost. Once heirloom tomatoes and vegetables are picked, they do not have a long shelf life as hybrids but they more than make up for any shortcomings in flavor. This is true for all heirloom vegetables.
