HOW TO MAKE THE BANNETON BREAD WITH OUR BASKET
Step 1. Gather the necessary ingredients in our batton sourdough baskets, including flour, water, salt, and yeast, and combine them. Use our dough whisk mix until the ingredients are well incorporated and form a sticky dough.
Step 2. Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead it for about 10-15 minutes.
Step 3. Place the kneaded dough back into the mixing bowl and cover it with a clean kitchen towel or plastic wrap. Allow it to rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until it doubles in size.
Step 4. Preheat your oven to the desired temperature. Use our bread lame to score the top of the dough with a sharp knife or razor blade to allow for expansion during baking.
Step 5. Gently invert the fermented dough in the oven. It needs about 30-40 minutes or until the bread has a golden crust and sounds hollow when tapped on the bottom.
