MADE IN USA!  This belt is handmade from 100% full-grain, 7-8 ounce vegetable tanned cowhide.  It has undergone a multi-step process from start, to the finished product.  Size is 33".  The double-tongue buckle is 1-1/2" wide, and solid brass.

Our belts are measured from the end of the leather near the buckle, to the center hole (this belt has 7 holes, so the measurement is to the 4th hole).  Please see last picture for reference diagram.  The overall length from edge of buckle to the opposite end is 40".  The width of the belt is 1-1/2".

This belt is made from vegetable tanned leather, which is 100% cow leather. "Vegetable tanned" refers to the tannage of the leather. Natural tannins (instead of chemicals) are used in the tanning process, such as tree bark and other organic matter.

Texture differences in the grain pattern of leather are sometimes perceived as imperfections. But these are what gives leather goods their unique character. When you look closely at our belts, you’ll see that we have left the natural grain intact, so it is completely normal and expected that there will be various “imperfections” on the finished product.

HOW TO CHOOSE A BELT BASED ON PANTS SIZE:
An easy way to determine belt size is to simply add 2″ to your off-the-rack trouser size.  For example, if you wear a 36” waist trouser, then a 38 belt size will be a safe bet.  Most will find this simple formula works best for pants worn at a traditional height, which is close to the natural waistline.  For a belt to wear with low-rise trousers or jeans, consider adding 3" or 4" to your pants size.

– If your pants size = 34, choose belt size = 36
– If your pants size = 36, choose belt size = 38

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR BODY FOR BELT SIZE:
To measure your body for optimal belt size, start by threading the tape measure through the belt loops of your trousers.  It’s important to stand in a relaxed, natural position–do not push out your belly, or suck it in, when taking the measurement.  The measuring tape should be snug.  Measure in inches, and round to the nearest inch.  Choose the belt size closest to this measurement.
