Use tips:
1. One-piece ileostomy bags can last 3-4 days if you don't fill them up to 1/3 or sweat too much. Do not use them for more than 6 days as this can lead to leakage.
2. Avoid running or exercising while wearing a colostomy bag. Sweating can cause the tape holding the drainage pouch to come loose.
3. Take a shower. You need to keep the skin around your stoma clean and dry. Avoid products that contain alcohol as they can cause dry skin. Don't use oily skin care products. They can make it difficult to keep the pouch in place.
4. If there is hair on the skin around the stoma, you may need to shave it or the drainable pouch may stick.
5. Regular cleaning with warm water will help to keep the stoma pouch in place.

Suitable for patients with stomatal problems.
1.If used for an ileostomy, you will need to change the drainable ostomy bags more frequently as the ileostomy stool is liquid and contains digestive enzymes which can irritate the skin more than other colostomy products.
2. Continuous use will affect adhesion.
3. If the drainable stoma bag is full of air, make a small hole in the top of the bag and vent through the viewing window. Drain pouches should not be flushed directly down the toilet or cloaca and should be disposed of properly.
4. Use with caution in patients who are allergic to adhesives.
