Kojic Acid:

Kojic Acid was discovered as a natural product derived form a mushroom in Japan in 1989. It has been successfully used to Lighten pigment spots and skin discoloration and considered as a kind of popularly speciallized inhibitor for melanin.  At present, it is assigned into various kinds of cosmetics for curing freckles, spots on the skin of elder men, pigmentation and acne.

Kojic acid can produce excellent effects in evenly toning the skin, fighting age spots, pregnancy marks, and freckles, as well as general skin pigmentation disorders of face and body.

It is a 98% pure and natural material. Kojic acid has a better inhibitory effect on tyrosinase than any other skin whitening agents! Kojic acid may help diminish or eliminate sun freckles, melasma or other pigmentation when used correctly.

Niacinamide is an excellent skin lightening agent that works by disrupting the transfer of melanosome from the melanocyte to the keratinocyte.   Commonl known niacinamide at 2% has been shown to reduce water loss in the skin and retain fatty acid levels.  It has also been proven at high concentrations(between 3-4%) to be a very effective acne reducer.  Clinical research has shown niacinamide to be just as effective as the topical antibiotic Clindamycin at treating acne.  Obviously niacinamide doesn't run the risk of resistance, since it is not an antibiotic.

Hyaluronic Acid:

Hyaluronic acid, also known as HA, is a natural compound found in skin that has many important functions, including holding in moisture, providing cushioning, aiding in tissue repair, holding together the skin structural components collagen and elastin, and helping create a protective barrier against microorganisms.

Keep in mind, that even when you see an improvement, you need to avoid sun as a major factor of skin discoloration.
