Included in this package is one 6ft industrial-grade polypropylene washing machine drain hose, designed to fit any brand of washing machine. Make no mistake: this is an UPGRADE from your existing drain hose!
INSTALLATION IS A BREEZE:
1. Use a screwdriver or pair of pliers to remove the hose clamp that is securing the existing hose to the appliance, depending on if you have a screw-tightened hose clamp or a spring-pressure hose clamp, respectively.
2. Wiggle the old hose free from the drain outlet.
3. Push the connector end of the new hose over the drain outlet. If the connector is very loose on the outlet, trim the end of the connector to a smaller diameter that will fit more snugly over the outlet.
4. Replace the existing hose clamp over the connector to ensure a water-tight connection.
5. Securely hook the saddled hose holder (the discharge end of the drain hose) over the utility sink edge or directly into the drain pipe and zip-tie or or otherwise secure it to prevent it from moving during use.
