While heating, wait until the soldering iron has transferred the heat and the plastic parts gradually melt. If the melting depth is flush with the surface of the plastic part, take away the soldering iron and finish the heating process to prevent the nut from further sinking due to overheating and affecting the subsequent tightening of the screw. 2. EASY REPLACEMENT Thanks to the split design, you can easily replace the brass tips of the heat treated inserts of different sizes without having to unscrew the soldering iron connection sleeve. Simply unscrew the old tip and insert the new tip.
