Herbal Hair Colour & Grey Hair
Generally speaking it is possible to dye grey hair using LOGONA's Hair Colour powders. However, it is not possible to completely cover grey hair. Due to its nature, grey hair is naturally lighter than hair that has not greyed yet. Herbal hair colours do however, add natural shade nuances. 

Plant Colour & Bleaching
It is not possible to bleach one's hair using the LOGONA Hair Colour powders as this is only possible by applying a bleaching agent such as hydrogen peroxide, which is very damaging on the hair.

The natural Herbal Hair Colour by LOGONA is available in powder form or as a ready-made cream. All LOGONA's Herbal Hair Colours are free from synthetic colourants, fragrances and preservatives such as peroxide, ammoniac and other chemicals. 

Finding Your Perfect Shade
The final colour result is determined by your natural hair colour. Regardless which shade you opt for you can look forward to healthier, shinier and more beautiful tresses. LOGONA's Hair Colours allows you to add nuances, darken your natural hair colour or switch to an entirely different shade altogether without damaging the structure of the hair. It is recommended to determine the natural shade and strength of your hair as this will determine the final colour outcome. The finer and lighter your natural hair is, the faster the colour will be absorbed resulting in darker colour result. It is best to do a test on a small section of hair to ensure that desired colour will be achieved. 

The single shades within the LOGONA Hair Colour range is combinable, especially when it comes to the brown and red shades. Blending these shades will create a world of nuances. The black shade darkens hair that naturally has a hazelnut, chestnut or mahogany colour. 

The durability of LOGONA's Herbal Hair Colours depend on the hair's texture and condition, as well as how well hair is taken care of. These hair dyes do not rinse out. One pack LOGONA Herbal Hair Colour is required for shoulder-length hair. For the first application, two packs are required for hair that very long. 

Application: 

1. Pre-treatment: We recommend using the Color Plus Colorations Pre-Treatment beforehand. This conditioning treatment contains mineral clay and birch leaf extract to effectively remove hair care and hair styling products as well as flaky particles and excess sebum. By removing all the buildup an improved colour result can be achieved, because the herbal pigments are better able to penetrate the hair cuticle. 
2. Colouration: The LOGONA Herbal Hair Colour powders are applied strand for strand using a brush whereas the ready-made cream versions can be applied directly from the tube. These powders are blended with boiling water, black tea or coffee to intensify the colour result. Mix until a silky paste is formed. The LOGONA Herbal Hair Colour Creams are ready-made and can be applied starting at the roots and distributing the product to the tips of the hair. Depending on the desired colour result, these hair dyes must be left to absorb for 15 minutes to 2 hours. Thereafter, hair is rinsed with plenty of warm water. 
3. Post-Treatment: It is advised to used a conditioner in place of a shampoo. We recommend the Color Conditioner by LOGONA. This will set the colour and provide intensive luminosity. Bur seed oil, bertaine and wheat protein contained in the formulation, will seal the colour directly after application to ensure a long-lasting and shiny colour result. 
4. Care: To intensify the luminosity and durability of the herbal dye we recommend the LOGONA colour care shampoos in chamomile, henna and hazelnut. They contain plant extracts that have colouring substances which help ensure long-lasting colour result. Use on your natural hair to refresh you colour. These shampoos do not tint the hair.

Henna/Indigo: Shine & colour for your hair. Henna is native to North and East Africa as well as parts of Asia, requiring plenty of sunlight and warmth. In the Far East henna has been treasured for centuries due to its scent, making it a perfect bedding plant. Henna powder is obtained from the henna plant which has been used for body painting since Ancient Times and has also been known as a natural hair dye for several years. The same can be said about the leaves of the senna and indigo plants. The plant was brought to Europe from East Asia and India across Egypt. Senna leaves have a conditioning effect.
