This ¼” stainless steel motorized ball valve is affordable enough for the home hobbyist, while durable enough for titans of industry. The valve body and stem are made of SS304 steel, which is lead free and safe for drinking water. It actuates using 9V to 24V of DC power, and will fully open or fully close in 3-5 seconds. Once in position, it automatically stops using energy. This is important as it will never overheat.This is a key difference between motorized ball valves and solenoid valves. Most solenoid valves are constantly energized, while these electrical ball valves are not, making them a safer and more eco-friendly option. The attention to detail in this valve extends beyond the metal. The casing is rated as IP65. This ingress protection rating is used to define how well the casing does at sealing. For U.S. Solid motorized ball valves, they have the highest IP rating possible against solids (6), representing a seal that protects against all solids, even dust.
