Perlite can be used as potting soil for vegetables, helping soil to retain moisture and nutrients while preventing root compaction, allowing for healthy root growth and better drainage. It is suitable for container gardening, raised garden beds, hydroponic net cups, and can be used for compost aeration. For hydroponics, perlite can be used alone as a medium or added to other media to improve texture.
