In order to compose the NatureHolic AxolotlFeed, specially designed for the needs of Axolotln, we have rolled studies on optimal Axolotl feeding and made ourselves smart how to best support the health and development of the fascinating tail lurch. In our own breeding, we have refined the formula even further.

Too much vegetable protein, cheap fillers and even too many plant components in the feed are life-threatening for Axolotl: severe digestion problems up to intestinal obstruction threaten. In addition, the undigested vegetable protein heavily pollutes the water in the aquarium; another danger for the lot. Most commercially available dry food is also much too hard for Axolotl and can cause micro-injuries in the sensitive lurch mouth.

But feeding with live food can also be problematic for Axolotl - contaminated or poorly kept live food is also a danger.

When compiling the soft NatureHolic AxolotlFeed, we have oriented ourselves to the natural diet of the Axolotl and made special attention to using only animal proteins derived from insects and aquatic animals. They can be digested particularly well by the Axolotl. Our LT fishmeal is extracted particularly gently in a special manufacturing process and is correspondingly highly digestible. A small proportion of algae simulates the intestinal contents of the prey of the Axolotl, which feed predominantly vegetarian or omnivorous.

The soft chunks of food are eaten by the Lotl. They are particularly easy to swallow and ensure a eating experience like in nature. In addition, the soft consistency of the delicious Lotl food pieces protects the sensitive mouth and soft mouth of the Axolotl from micro-injuries when looping. Due to the particularly good digestibility of the NatureHolic AxolotlFeed, we decisively reduce the water load caused by undigested food in the Axolotl aquarium.

We have also added prebiotically effective, particularly bioavailable Mannan oligosaccharides and beta-glucans to protect the sensitive intestinal wall, which also support the important intestinal flora. In addition, we are also working here again with our proven NatureHolic vitamin trace element mix and also simulate the intestinal contents of the feed animals with chlorella algae, which are also another contribution to the supply of vital fibre, minerals and trace elements.

Feeding recommendation: every 2-3 days 2-5 sticks per animal - as many as in approx. 20 minutes. Then remove or vacuum food residue with a landing net. We recommend targeted feeding with tweezers.

Tracking & Notifications

Every order is fully trackable. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order ships. If your order ships in multiple packages, each package will have its own tracking number. Order Changes & Cancellations
