- 3M Thinsulate Insulation keeps air molecules stuck to the body. The microfibres in Thinsulate Insulation are much finer than other fibres. They therefore "trap" more air in less space and thus provide better insulation. The fine polyester fibres, in the inside of the glove, support the high insulation value, despite low weight. Cold winds do not pass through the material, so your own body heat is stored for a long time.
