Surface and smudging brush goat hair | 45 mm | 120 mm | soft brushes for large-area painting, smudging techniques and shading in watercolour, oil and acrylic painting - dust-binding, absorbent natural hair. Surface and smudge brush goat hair – with the particularly soft and fine natural hair of the goat, you can paint colours over a large area, create soft transitions and colourations without leaving brush marks. With blurring techniques in watercolour, oil and acrylic painting, misty areas and natural formations such as sky can be designed and transparencies can be worked out. The flat, full artist brush is particularly suitable for working with glazing paints. The fine, densely contained soft goat hair has particularly dust-binding and absorbent properties. The short brush hairs are gripped by a copper thread binding directly on the untreated wooden handle in traditional Japanese shape. Goat hair exudes a spicy, natural smell, but it disappears with increasing use. As this is very fine goat hair and it breaks easily, please remove the loose hair from the brush before use
