Reaper X is an upgraded version of the standard Carolina Reaper (which averages ~1,200,000 SHU) created in 2013. Since 2013, Magic Plant Farms agronomists worked to improve the standard Carolina Reaper to increase the heat level and stabilize the landrace to perfection. As of 2022, we can guarantee to offer the hottest Carolina reaper that ever existed (Reaper X averages ~1,600,000 SHU). These pods should be used sparingly since they add lots of heat. RE-HYDRATE THE PODS FOR ADDITIONAL USES by placing them in a bowl and cover with a 1/2" of boiling water and soak for 15 minutes.
