Description

Breast milk is best for a baby in the first six months of life - it is especially important for the mother to breastfeed if possible, for at least the first 4 months of life if there is a family history of allergies (hay fever, neurodermatitis, food intolerance, etc.). If this is not possible or only partially possible, HiPP PRE Hypoallergenic (HA) Combiotik® Infant Formula can be offered from birth onwards as the only food or as a supplementary food.

HiPP Pre HA Combiotik® contains low-allergen protein which is protein that is broken down into very small building blocks. This can be processed better by the body and thus reduces the risk of a milk protein allergy.

This formula also contains natural lactic acid cultures, fibre, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids. Since lactose is the only carbohydrate in this food, you can feed it (like breast milk) as needed.

Important information about HiPP PRE HA Combiotik® Infant Formula:

  • In general, breast milk and breastfeeding are the best for your baby, regardless of a family history of allergies. Please discuss this with a medical professional (hospital, paediatrician, midwife or lactation consultant) beforehand if breastfeeding is not possible or only partially possible.

  • HiPP PRE HA Combiotik® is not suitable for babies who have already been diagnosed with an existing allergy to cow's milk protein or who are suspected of having such an allergy.

  • HiPP PRE HA Combiotik® contains galactooligosaccharides (GOS) - this can lead to softer stools when switching from breast milk or another infant formula to this product.

  • Please also note the general information on the use of infant formula at the end of this page.

Dosage: Please follow the dosage chart carefully. However, if your baby is unable to finish every bottle at every meal, please don't force your baby to finish it. The amount mentioned is only a guideline and can vary.
Only use the measuring spoon included in the package to measure out the powder. One measuring spoon corresponds to approx. 4.3 g HiPP PRE HA COMBIOTIK® or 30 ml water.

** After consultation with a paediatrician, you can start offering your baby solid foods at this point. You can gradually replace bottles with (cereal) meals. In total, your baby needs about 5 meals a day.

Preparation:

  1. Freshly boil water required for each feed and let it cool down to 40 - 50 °C. Fill 2/3 of the required amount of water according to the dosage chart into a clean and sterilised bottle.
    It is best to check the temperature with a thermometer. Here's a tip if you don't have a thermometer: if you can just about hold the bottle in your hand, then the temperature is right. If the water is too cold, the powder will not dissolve properly; if it is too hot, the valuable natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli) may be destroyed.

  2. Take the amount of powder specified in the dosage chart from the pack with the measuring spoon included. Fill the measuring spoon loosely and wipe off any excess powder (on the wiper edge in the package or with the back of a knife).

  3. Add the powder to the water in the bottle. Close tightly and shake vigorously.

  4. Open the bottle and add the remaining third of boiled water. Close again and shake again until the powder has completely dissolved.

  5. Let the mixture cool down until it is lukewarm before you feed your baby (approx. 37 °C - please be sure to check).

Important Information on the Use of Infant Formula

  • Breast milk is best for your baby - it contains high-quality proteins and all the important nutrients your baby needs for healthy development. That is why the WHO recommends exclusively breastfeeding babies in the first six months of life.

  • If you do not or only partially breastfeed your baby, please discuss this beforehand with the appropriate healthcare professionals (for example with a paediatrician, midwife or lactation consultant).

  • Follow the dosage and preparation recommendations carefully.

  • Prepare the infant formula fresh before each meal. Feed it to your baby right away. Do not store and reuse leftovers.

  • The bottle and teat must always be thoroughly cleaned and sterilised.

  • Store the opened pack in a dry place at room temperature. Always close the bag tightly. Once opened, use it up within 3 weeks.

  • Please do not heat infant formula in the microwave, there is a risk of overheating!

  • Just like breast milk, formula contains carbohydrates that your baby needs for healthy development. However, these carbohydrates can cause serious damage to the teeth (caries) if they are in prolonged contact with the milk. Therefore, only let your baby suck on the bottle until he or she has finished the meal and is full. The bottle is not suitable as a pacifier or for continuous sucking! Pay attention to careful dental care as soon as the first tooth appears!

Return: 

You may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Downloadable software products
  • Some health and personal care items

To complete your return, we require a tracking number, which shows the items which you already returned to us.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)

  • Book with obvious signs of use
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Items returned to us as a result of our error will receive a full refund,some returns may be subject to a restocking fee of 7% of the total item price, please contact a customer care team member to see if your return is subject. Returns that arrived on time and were as described are subject to a restocking fee.

Items returned to us that were not the result of our error, including items returned to us due to an invalid or incomplete address, will be refunded the original item price less our standard restocking fees.

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Shipping Cost

We'll pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.). In other cases, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refund: 

  • Purchases may be returned within 30 days of the shipping date for a refund. 
  • Refund will be issued to your original form of payment.
  • Refunds for orders purchased with IBSPOT Gift Cards and/or IBSPOT Notes will be issued as a  IBSPOT Gift Card and mailed to the original billing address. Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash unless  required by law. 

Refund Processing 

• Returns to a IBSPOT store will be refunded to the original form of payment or gift card. • Mail-in returns with our prepaid return label will be refunded back to the original form of payment within 3-5  business days after we receive your return. Please allow 5-7 business days for your return to arrive at our Returns Center. 

• Note: It may take a few days until your bank posts the refund to your account. 

Claims: 

Claims related to the product. Be sure to check the details of your purchase carefully before you make the payment, and  check the contents of the package(s) promptly upon receipt. If you have a problem with the product, visit our Support  Center to find out about return shipping arrangements.

Exceptions / non-returnable items 

Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants),  custom products (such as special orders or personalized items), and personal care goods (such as  beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or  gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item. Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
