- The G05 120/70/20 EZ EXTREME sealing tape is a modern, professional sealing tape with a special 20 mm wide expansion zone that balances the strong stresses on the surface of the parts to be sealed and between the sealed parts. G05 EZ EXTREME is made from 100% thermoplastic elastomer reinforced with a special polyester fleece in two thicknesses.
- For movement joints, a round cord with an appropriate average filling as tightly as possible must be used. The sealing tape must be as precisely as possible against joint flanks.
- This makes G05 extremely tough, yet flexible and tear-resistant. The sealing tape is very resistant to alkalis and common cleaning chemicals. The high-quality elastomer used is UV-resistant, ageing-resistant, mould-resistant, permanently elastic and thermoplastic.
- The sealing tape G05 EZ Extreme is intended for sealing expansion joints, component joints, connection joints and cracks, especially in highly stressed, critical areas in residential and industrial construction.
- G05 EZ EXTREME is intended for sealing connections on vertical surfaces or on horizontal surfaces in the wall and floor areas under tiles. The product is recommended for sealing movement joints (peripheral expansion joints, maintenance joints) on horizontal and vertical surfaces as well as at their connections outdoors and indoors with high intermittent or constant stress due to water and moisture.
- The sealing tape G05 EZ is compatible with all liquid polymer and polymer cement sealants from LEVEL+.
- The surface must be firm, flat, clean, free of dust and grease as well as without old paint layers or fine elements that can affect product adhesion. Pre-treat the surface with appropriate level + depth base. Dirt and non-load-bearing layers must be removed and supplemented with a suitable material
- Instructions for use: first insert sealing corners and sealing cuffs for wall and floor area. After pre-measurement, simple sealing tape sections with the overlap reserve of 40 mm for tape/corner bonding must be prepared. Apply a thin layer of LEVEL+ sealant to the surface, into which the sealing corners and sealing tape sections are inserted in a straight position
- After sealing tape insert, the surface must be pressed from above with a soft roller, with spatula or trowel and reworked with sealant from above. It is important to pay attention to an exact bond between the respective sealing tape sections as well as between the sealing tape and the corner using the sealant
- Note: The middle elastic zone 20 mm of the sealing tape and the surface area below must not be coated with the sealant to be inserted. Rework the sealing tape connection with LEVEL+ sealant on both sides, at least two layers, whereby the middle part of the sealing tape must remain unfilled
