The discs which attach to the wall appeared to be the usual rubber suction type but I was surprised to find that they are made of a different type of plastic.
When installed properly, which is simple, they grip extremely tightly- very strong.
In fact I had trouble getting one off to move it.
THE INSTALLATION WALL MUST BE CLEAN AND SMOOTH：
Since it does not disfigure the wall to mount.I mounted mine on tile- THE DISCS CANNOT CROSS GROUT BUT MUST BE ATTACHED TO SMOOTH TILE.
LITTLE TILES WOULD MAKE IT INEFFECTIVE. My tiles are 6x6 but it would attach to 4x4 tiles.
