It was made using Blue Steel.
The blacksmith that made Takashiba closed down, but his younger brother Ikuo Takashiba is now making it under the name of Takamichi.
He does a very polite job.
And it is a blacksmith that responds to very flexible orders.
He has been making a chisel for more than 50 years.
In Japan, the use of the handle of the chisel changes in the west and east, but he can handle both specifications.
The joint between the handle and the blade of the chisel is beautiful, so even if you use it for a long time, the chisel will not be out of alignment with the handle.
And he produces my order quickly and precisely.
These chisels are reasonably priced, but the quality is the highest.
Currently, all items are marked up in Japan, but he didn't do that.
There are many blacksmiths in Japan who make many wonderful items, and he is one of the top blacksmiths.
I sell it at a reasonable price in order to spread the goodness of his work.
