This CD of Native American music was inspired by our trips to the USA. From arriving at Denver airport to the sound of pan-pipe music, then travelling from South Dakota to Yellowstone National Park via the Crazy Horse Monument, we were drawn to the history, culture and music of the Native Americans.
The music in this CD brings together a selection of 7 tracks, all acquired under licence by Here To Listen Ltd, it includes the sounds of drumming, chanting, flutes, shakers, sounds of nature and more and lasts 50 minutes.
Mindfulness also refers to observing or looking at things as they truly are, as opposed to what we think they are or evaluate them to be or imagine them to be. For example, going into a situation with a preconceived notion of how things will turn out or how we think they ought to be, will almost certainly colour our experience. This can prevent us from getting in touch with the true experience as it is there and then. Being in touch with the present moment as opposed to being caught up in thoughts about the past is a much healthier way to be.
Simply looking at things in an objective way as opposed to labelling them as either "good" or "bad" stop automatic negative thoughts from taking hold and sending us in a downward spiral.
