The Towever trailer hitch extension 7 riser is designed to be compatible with most Class III/IV hitch receivers. The 2 inch hitch extension can be used not only for towing a trailer, ball mount, or other towing accessory but also for mounting a bike rack or a cargo carrier. This product offers versatility and convenience for those who require extra space for their towing needs or transportation of other items.

To mount the Towever 84128 drop down hitch, a front hitch is required, which should measure between 10-13 inches from the ground to the centerline of the hitch extender 2 inch. In cases where the vehicle is either too high or too low, an offset 4-inch drop/rise extension hitch will be necessary. This offset hitch extention can be attached to the Quick-Link receiver, which is mounted to the front of the vehicle, providing additional flexibility in height adjustment.

Here are the installation instructions for this 2 hitch extender:

1.Before purchasing, please check the product dimensions to ensure they meet your requirements.
2.Choose between the 7" or 9" extender length as needed.
3.The 2" shank has two pin holes for adjusting the length. Choose the appropriate hole based on your needs.
4.This trailer hitch extension riser has a 2 inch by 2 inch industry-standard receiver and is suitable for most 2-inch shanks of ball mounts and hitch accessories.
5.After inserting the 2 inch shank into the receiver, please tighten the anti-rattle bolt to reduce wobbling or rattling of the hitch.
6.We recommend using an anti-rattle hitch pin or hitch lock for bike racks or cargo carriers to further secure your accessories.
