Melt the bar of sealing wax over a flame. Rotate the rod constantly so that the wax becomes evenly soft. Before it starts to drip, the almost liquid wax is applied to the desired place as with a pen. Be sure to apply the wax slightly larger in diameter than the seal. Wait 15-20 seconds and then press the cold seal into the sealing wax for 5 seconds.
