Clad in their iconic, reinforced M42 jumping uniforms, these die-hard American paratroopers are ready to lead the attack on the Bolt Action tabletop. Combining much light firepower with a never-telling attitude and intense training, they are a force of hard, experienced infantry that can lead the battle to the enemy anytime and anywhere. This Bolt Action Starter Army gives you a combat-ready force of the US Airborne that you can play in games once assembled. At the core is a strong rifle train consisting of a pair of 12-member airborne troops supported by a sniper and tank faulting team and led into battle by a 6-member Pathfinder squad - all of these are made from the included plastic skewers. This element of power leads a Warlord Resin Platoon Commander who ensures your men know what the mission is! Backing up the Rifle Platoon are a pair of smaller formations deploying powerful support weapons - a Heavy Weapons Platoon of two medium machine gun and one medium mortar teams, plus a Platoon Commander, all in Warlord Resin and an Artillery Platoon with two metal guns: a 75mm Pack Howitzer for indirect fire support, and a 57mm anti-tank gun for dealing with enemy army army ours. These are led by a Platoon Commander built from the plastic skewers. This power gives you the perfect starting point for a US Airborne collection around the D-Day drops that have become famous in media such as Band of Brothers and can be endlessly cut or built to fit exactly your specifications.
