To install this item, you will need to drill a hole through the wall of your water container, with the following corresponding hole sizes for each BSP (British Standard Pipe) measurement: 1/2" BSP = 21mm hole 3/4" BSP = 26mm hole 1" BSP = 33mm hole 1.25" BSP = 41.9mm hole 1.5" BSP = 47.8mm hole 2" BSP = 59.6mm hole To install this item, follow these steps: Begin by removing the nut and washer from the barbed-threaded elbow. Push the elbow through the drilled hole in the water container's wall. Once the elbow is inserted, secure it from the inside of the tank by reattaching the washer and nut. It's important to note that the barb sizes provided refer to the interior diameter of the pipe that fits into them. If the pipe is a tight fit, you can make it easier to install by gently warming it up in hot water. This will soften the pipe and make it more pliable for pushing onto the barb. Once the pipe cools down, it will shrink back to its original size, creating a tight and waterproof seal.
