How to connect to WiFi?
⭐It is highly recommended to read this before connecting to your WiFi router. Before connecting to your wireless router, please check the following points.
⭐1. Please make sure your WiFi is working in 2.4G mode. If your WiFi supports 2.4G and 5G dual-band, please disable 5G WiFi first. The door sensor only recognizes 2.4G WiFi. After the door sensor is connected to the WiFi router, 5G WiFi can be activated for the router. The door sensor will always remain connected to 2.4G WiFi.
⭐2. Make sure your WiFi router is not blocking the device’s MAC address.
⭐3. Please make sure the WiFi signal is strong. It is recommended that when the device is connected to a WiFi router, the door sensor and mobile phone should be placed less than 2 meters away from the WiFi router.
Add WiFi sensor:
⭐1. Download Smartlife App or Tuya App.
⭐2. Log in to the App and click the "+" in the upper right corner to add a sensor. No hub required.
⭐3. Turn on Bluetooth, which makes it easier to add to the application.
⭐4. Make sure the surfaces of doors and windows are smooth and clean.
⭐5. The installation distance should not exceed 0.5 inches.
⭐6. The two parts need to be aligned via their alignment notches.
