Wisesorb tin can is perfect for your new gun safe to remove moisture. Removes moisture from gun vaults or enclosed spaces . This canister of silica gel is reusable, just place it in the oven for a 3 hours at 250°F and it will recharge it back to new. Recommend taking the cap off to protect the clear plastic window in the cap first. The beads inside will change color to indicate when it needs "recharged". Good product if you don’t have internal outlets in your vault for a "plug in" dehumidifier. The silica gel canister is a well finished metal product and doesn't take up much space which will work in a cabinet or safe which holds pro DSLR camera gear to keep the moisture/humidity down. If you have a musky smell problem in your safe after an exceptionally wet rain season. Just place the canister in your safe and it will absorb all of the water. Really NICE canisters, can see desiccant color through holes in the side but NO dust leaks out. Nice large canister with all beads indicating moisture - not just a few in the top. Just add the can to your camping gear, a stored show car or tool boxes to keep things fresh. You use canister in the camper to combat moisture which could lead to mold or keep your rv frig dry and smelling good. If there is lots of moisture, please end up recharging them once every 2-3 weeks. This keeps mustlness and rust to a minimum without the danger of a spill from the CaCl3 salt option out there that really rusts things up when spilled. Tossed container in a good airtight container where you keep 3d Printer filament at about 22% RH to store both PLA and ABS. Worked great and sucked moisture out of the filament that was making it almost unprintable and your prints are better for it. Set this on top of your portable generator, under a protective cover, made for that generator. The purpose for that, is to control moisture build-up, under the cover.
