This pandemic had me hiding behind a mask for real. I’m an older married woman, I was always on the hairy side, but that’s what salons are for. Literally having gone 14 months of partial self grooming and frankly staying indoor or masking up to go grocery shopping. I tried home waxing, what a mess, gunk all over and the pain, who can pull that wax strip off themselves? Who? Not I said the old woman! So I was going to get something fancy and expensive off of home shopping and this popped up on Amazon for under $10. I grabbed a few things for home hair removal. I just did my entire face - lip, chin, eyebrows, sideburns, I tested on my arm. This is too small for legs, I did a partial side. I love it! It does leave a tough feel to the skin after, but my hubby said he can’t see any. So, wash up before and after use, tone and moisturize your skin. Tomorrow I will exfoliate or maybe my derma something kit will come in? Very easy to use, read the instruction it takes 2 seconds. I’m so shocked.
This is the BEST product I have found to remove that pesky, peach fuzz-type hair on my upper lip, chin and the sides of my face (the area under my cheeks, close to my hairline). It is small/compact so it fits nicely in a makeup bag, purse, etc. In addition, it is so easy to use and maneuver since it is provisioned with a pivoting head that can be effortlessly moved from a straight up and down position to a 45 degree angle which allows a closer trim. The barrel, right under the pivoting head, is equipped with a light so you’re sure to not miss a spot. It is a trimmer, not a razor, so it doesn’t leave stubble nor does it lend itself to skin irritations like razor burns.I can touch up my entire face, removing all the excess hair in 3-5 minutes—depending on thickness/thinness of my facial hair. And if I am only touching up my upper lip and chin, I can get that done in 1-2 minutes—again, depending on thickness/thinness of my facial hair. As I have stated, I can easily touch up my entire face in less than 5 minutes. It is easy, fast, painless and leaves a flawless result.
I purchased this for my niece after I got one for myself.I paid twice a much for mine at a local drug store. I like to keep my brows trimmed but not thin.I have used the antiquated technique of plucking my brows...but it hurts at times and it makes my face all red and makes my eyes swell a little. What I really like about my Finishing Touch eyebrow trimmer is, it's painless and easy to use, The head has at light at the very tip to allow you to see with precision. The head is bendable and flexible in case you are trimming other facial hair that may be in an awkward spot. To keep your eyebrow trimmers working longer, make sure you lightly clean the blades after each use. Simply wet the tip of your finder and slide the head if trimmer across your wet finger then immediately dry the trimmer head on a towel so its no longer wet. The razor portion can get skin and hair buildup on it causing the blades to be less sharp..Bottom Line: works great, has a light at the tip, the tip is bendable and angles for those hard-to-reach places.Reasonably priced and the uses hardly any battery up.No cons have been experienced yet.
