saw a ton of bad reviews, saying this does not dye their hair . my natural hair is dark brown, in the time of 2-3 weeks i bleached my hair twice and it became very light after the second bleach, decently close to white. that’s the tone of hair u need for this to wrk.but wht was sussy is my hair turned silver, but after washing it twice the silverness washed away & now my hair is white

I liked how it was simple product to use on me it wasn’t an irritant like some products .It didn’t leave my hair dry and above all it totally got rid of my brassy bleached tones shame it’s not permanent

I've been bleaching my hair blonde for nearly 25 years,So my hair roots when I bleach them would be yellowish, the rest of my hair was already blonde but still had the slight bigger strands yellowish (see pic with curly hair and roots coming through),Then a beautician gave me some advice when I told her I'd had the same hair for years she said to put a "Ice White Toner" on it,The Product id previously used was :"Scott Cornwall Colour Restore Iced Platinum Anti Yellow Hair Toner - Multiple Use"It was good as it was multiple uses, but I found with this one, my hair would have loads of blue parts everywhere , and id end up washing it 3-4 times so I'd only end up with some hair white,So my advice to ppl wanting to do this,If you, ve already got bleached hair and do your roots, and your worrying about it turning blue because of your hair being dry,Porous this product WONT do that,I put it on straight after I bleached my roots(See pic of my hair just after I washed the bleach from my roots) ,The only drawback is its a one time use,As I do my roots every month until I find a multiple use that won't turn my hair blue now I just have to pay extra £7.99On top of the LIVE blonde bleach I use

I bleached my very dark hair and had brassy tones, used expensive toner from Sally’s but this one is the best. Only gave four stars as doesn’t last many washes and have to re apply it at least twice a month, it’s cheap and results are good so I don’t mind

My hair is not fully bleached, but I couldn't see much difference is the parts that are. I actually feel they became even more copper/orange than before.

Had blonde foils 2 weeks ago + it did lighten my hair but not as much as I hoped

Have used this over the last year and to get it Ice white you need to have platinum blonde at a min . I use BlondMe bleach to take my black hair to a blonde, then I sometimes re bleach or apply a platinum toner and then this.Amazing stuff

It has a good value. But I have to say your hair has to be so much bleached that you can see it. But other than that really good

I’ve read a lot of comments of people staying that this dosent work. If you have really yellow hair it’s most probably not going to make any difference at all as it’s only a level 10 of bleach in the toner so you need to already have close to platinum blonde hair for the best results what I do is after I’ve bleached my hair at the salon I get a box or 2 of these and they last a long time considering it’s semipermanent but it took all the tiny yellow bits that my hair didn’t take to and made my hair one even colour. You can’t have slim shady hair and put this on and think that magic is going to happen this should 100% be 5 star product not a 4

Top photos are before, lower photos are after. Okay so my hair wasn't blonde blonde before, I just had some unwanted orange tones that I wanted to neutralise. I thought this toning colour would be perfect for the job after researching online. However, it seems to have turned my hair a light shade of burgundy. I have no idea why to be honest. I don't dislike it per sae, it just wasn't what I was expecting. I expected if it didn't work well, to either make no difference whatsoever or to make it more orange given the hydrogen peroxide in it. Most peculiar.

Colour was lovely when first done & my hair was lovely & glossy with the colour maintainer but after one wash all the colour was goneI was very disappointed

I have stubborn dark hair and after 4 months of lockdown, I had long roots that needed doing. After two bleaching sessions, I still had some brassy yellow tones in my hair. I've tried different toners and purple shampoos and they really only made a difference on the ends of my hair which were already platinum. They made these ends look brighter and more silvery. But it didn't help my yellowy roots much at all. After trying this particular toner, I was pleasantly surprised at the results. Finally the yellow brassy tones were tamed and now look more like a sandy blond. As a semi permanent toner, I'll have to see how long it lasts. I've had one wash since and it's still fully visible, hasn't faded at all that I can see. Another note, it leaves the hair very soft and silky and has a nice smell too.

My hair was a tad yellowish before (heart pic) this product has taken out all yellow and left such a nice icy clean blonde with NO purple or grey tones. Left my hair feeling soft and shiny, doesn't feel damaged at all. Really pleased. Bought 2 as my hair is really thick and long but might try one box next time. Cant say how long it will last but for a £5 I don't care.

Reason for 2 stars: I have bleach blond hair (not freshly done) however, it's still bleach blonde. I've used other Jerome Russel toners before and love and swear by them. This one however did not change the colour at all that I could see. I left in extra time, I'm putting it down to the fact my hair hasn't been bleached previous days leading up to using this toner.

Absolutely recommend this product! My blonde had gone brassy and orange (I have a lot of red tones in my hair) during the latest lockdown, and without being able to see my hairdresser I was desperate to try something to clean the colour without damaging my hair.THIS PRODUCT has completely smashed it out the park! Much cleaner ashier blonde than I even hoped for!If you have orange and yellow tones in that blonde hair of yours, I 10000000% recommend this!P.s. I left mine on for 30 mins instead of 20.

Probably a good item but it turned my light blonde hair to grey! I should have read the details more carefully, lesson learned.

After reading reviews which said application was easier after pouring in a bowl that’s precisely what i did, it went on very easily and was good thickness, my hair went from a horrible bleached yellowy brassy colour to a natural ashy/light blonde, really happy with this and would recommend. Not sure why minimum order amount is 2 but I managed to only get one and it covered about half my head which I was content with :)

It definitely took the embarrassing brassy hair away to a fuller colour. Left it on 45 minutes

Probably the best toner I’ve used! I’ve never found toners are very effective but this one definitely changed the tone of my yellow blonde hair to a more white blonde. Not as much as I would’ve liked but more than any other had previously done for sure!

Definitely works !! Been dying my hair black for the past 15 years / natural colour I'd (dark brown ) bleached the ends they went orange and coppery and this lightened it way better than I thought

I bleached in some highlights then used the toner, I got white blonde my hair didn’t go anywhere near white but it did tone and looks nice. Happy with the product.

I use home hair colourants regularly and this one just seemed very old, like it has been on a shelf or in a warehouse for a very long time. The white liquid in the bottle had set and despite a lot of shaking and squeezing I had to remove the top part as it was just a plug which I couldn't add the colour to. Ended up removing so much I couldn't use it.

My hair has natural red pigments and non of the purple shampoos works for me. I also tried the small box Jerome Russell toners without any changes at all.However this toner worked pretty well for me.I washed my hair only with shampoo and let it dry for at least 30 mins. I applied everything as instructed and the result was fantastic. It even worked on my reddish parts a bit. I am very satisfied.If it doesn't work for you your hair is not bleached light enough, you apply it on too wet hair or doesn't let it work for enough time ;).

Really worked on my yellowing-orange highlights. Hair now a cooler tone dirty blonde really pretty. Also feels and looks in better condition than before from the products with the dye. Would recommend xx
